Murphy

Hi, my name is Murphy. I was born on 25th July 2013. I’m the cuddliest dog you’ll ever meet! I’m good on the leash and can even walk beside you without a leash. I absolutely adore children so would do great in a home with young children. I like to believe that most humans are good, even though my experience hasn’t always been great. When I was a puppy someone wasn’t so kind to me and cut off my tail, but since then I’ve learnt that there is no need to flinch when someone raises their hand; not all humans will hurt me. I’ve lived at the shelter for most of my life despite the fact everyone loves me. Every time I meet a new person they smile and say how lovely I am yet they turn their backs and walk away. Every weekend I think to myself, today might be the day, the day I find a forever home, but I’m always left behind. I sit and wonder why nobody picks me, is there something wrong? Is it my age? I like to believe that older dogs like me deserve a loving home as well.
